Rare Breed Sheep For Sale
Marlfield Farm is home to a flock of pedigree rare and native sheep. These special animals are full of character, hardy and require relatively low input compared to other breeds. We usually have a variety of animals for sale, so please do get in touch if you're interested in starting a new flock or adding to your existing flock. We can help with support and advice.
We are pleased to be able to offer the following breeds for sale: Boreray, North Ronaldsay and Shetland. We generally have both rams (tups) and ewes available for sale of various ages and depending on the time of year. We are also happy to take pre-orders if you are interested in lambs; lambs are usually weaned and available from autumn. Please get in touch if you are interested in buying some of these wonderful animals.
These breeds are quite different to the more common commercial breeds and so we are happy to offer any advice if you're new to these breeds. We are also centrally located in the UK which is handy for those travelling long distances but we are also able to deliver if this is preferred.
